Sanford Disaster Recovery Center opens - Fayetteville Observer

SANFORD - The Federal Emergency Management Agency has implemented a recovery centre disaster in Sanford at the Ruby McSwain Center, officials said.


Hours of operation, expected to start at noon today, are scheduled from 8 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day, including Easter Sunday.


FEMA teams will make door-to-door in the areas affected by the tornado.


Members will be wearing shirts with FEMA on them and will carry an identity card issued by the County of Lee.


Persons who have been affected by the tornado should register as soon as possible.


The Centre is 2420 Tramway Road.
